Conakry, May 25, 2025

On the occasion of Africa World Day, the Trophée de l’Africanité Foundation honored Mr. Tidiane Koita by awarding him the title of Knight of Honor of Africanity. The ceremony, held in Conakry, was marked by an atmosphere of respect and recognition.

The event celebrated the journey of a man of conviction, deeply rooted in Pan-African values, whose dedication to local development, youth, and African unity commands admiration.

This distinction, bestowed by the Foundation, aims to publicly recognize the tangible and lasting impact of Mr. Tidiane Koita’s initiatives in Guinea and beyond.

« My trip to Conakry allowed me to witness firsthand how many Guinean patriots salute the nobility of Tidiane’s actions over the years. The heartfelt testimonies from women and men on the ground deeply moved me. It was natural, obvious, and necessary to bestow upon him this title of Knight of Honor of Africanity, » said Nasrallah Belkhayate, President of the Foundation.

A Symbolic Honor for a Man of Action

The title of Knight of Honor of Africanity is not limited to a medal or a diploma. It embodies a philosophy of action, an identity pride, and a collective will to recognize the builders of real Africa. By honoring Tidiane Koita, the Foundation celebrated not only the man but also an entire generation of African leaders who work in silence, away from the spotlight, for a dignified, strong, and united Africa.
